Refund Policy
This policy covers one-time purchases of Langkit titles, bundles, Anki decks, and all-access passes. It should be read together with the Terms of Service. It does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
1. Who processes the payment
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for Langkit purchases. It charges the payment method, calculates transaction taxes, sends the receipt or invoice, and technically processes any refund. Langkit decides ordinary refund requests subject to applicable law, while Lemon Squeezy may also act under its Buyer Terms.
2. 14-day right of withdrawal
Langkit products are digital content or services supplied immediately after payment confirmation. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the order without giving a reason, even if you have already downloaded or used the content. We do not ask you to waive this right at checkout.
To withdraw, email hey@langkit.app with an unequivocal statement of your decision before the 14 days end; the optional wording in section 6 is enough. We reimburse the full amount paid within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the original payment method, via Lemon Squeezy. Section 7 describes what happens to your access afterwards.
3. Problems with a purchase
Please contact us if:
- You were charged more than once or purchased the wrong item by mistake
- Payment completed but the purchase was not delivered or linked correctly
- A deck, title, or feature is materially different from its description
- A persistent technical defect prevents normal use of the purchased product
Where digital content or a digital service is not supplied or does not conform to the contract, applicable law may entitle you to correction or replacement, a proportionate price reduction, or termination and reimbursement. We will first try to restore access or correct a technical problem where that is reasonable and lawful.
4. Discretionary refunds
After the 14-day withdrawal period, and outside the conformity rights above, refund requests are considered individually. We may decline a late change-of-mind request, or any request where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, redistribution, or another material violation of the Terms. This discretion never overrides a remedy required by law.
5. How to request a refund
Email hey@langkit.app or reply to the Lemon Squeezy receipt. Include the order number, checkout email, product name, and a short explanation. Do not send full card details. We may ask for information reasonably needed to locate and verify the order.
6. Optional withdrawal notice
Address a withdrawal notice to:
- Jesco Wuester
- R. Hermano Neves 18, Piso 3, Escritório 7, V6030, 1600-477 Lisboa, Portugal
- hey@langkit.app
Where a statutory withdrawal right remains available, you may use this wording: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for [product], ordered on [date], under order number [number]. My name is [name] and my checkout email is [email].” Email is the fastest route. Using this wording is optional; any clear statement communicating the decision to withdraw is sufficient.
7. What happens after a refund
- A full refund revokes the corresponding Langkit entitlement, in-app access, and future downloads. You must stop using and redistributing refunded digital content.
- A partial refund normally leaves the underlying entitlement active unless we expressly agree otherwise.
- Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Lemon Squeezy advises that they can take up to 10 days to appear on the customer’s statement.
8. Contact
Questions about product access or this policy can be sent to hey@langkit.app. Payment, invoice, and card questions can also be raised using the support details in your Lemon Squeezy receipt.
